AMAZING! Dutch police have such restraint!

This belgian woman is stopped by dutch police for traffic violations and makes a scene and they DO NOT TAZE her like American police would have. They don’t even handcuff her. And later when her angry boyfriend shows up, they still keep calm. I am impressed!

Maybe our coppers need to go over there and re-learn how to be PEACE officers instead of militarized thugs gathering revenue for the state!

Note: Poor translation from the Dutch language but you can get the point pretty well.

Cops: Cannot and Will Not Solve Most Major Crimes

On Copblock.org is a good post explaining it. Go there to see the full article and below is a couple highlights as well as the graph they have showing how horrible the record of clearing crimes law enforcement has.

Police and priorities

One way of determining how effective police are at solving crimes is to look at clearance rates…

For its yearly Uniform Crime Reports, the FBI estimates the amount of crime in the US by totaling all crimes discovered by police and all crimes reported to the police by the public. The Bureau also records the number of arrests made by police which are then used to generate clearance rates for a number of different crimes. The FBI’s clearance rates for 2009 suggest that police failed to solve more than 30% of criminal homicides, nearly 60% of forcible rapes, more than 70% of robberies, more than 40% of aggravated assaults, and nearly 90% of burglaries and motor vehicle thefts.

In the graph below posted on copblock, the red represents reports of crime and the blue represents arrests.

This graphic is actually rather generous to law enforcement. Obviously not everyone the police arrest is actually guilty so it’s wrong to treat every arrest as a true clearance. Furthermore, since UCR data is based on reports of crime and many crimes go unreported, the FBI’s numbers tend to underestimate the actual amount of crime which leads to better clearance rates. Despite the fact that this data paints an unrealistically good picture of police performance, it makes it quite clear that police only manage to solve an abysmally small portion of violent crimes and property crimes.

I highly recommend you read the rest of the article HERE and also visit other posts on that site.

Sheriff Takes Aim at the Bureau of Land Management

Nye County Nevada Sheriff Tony DeMeo explains how the Bureau of Land Management tries to come in to his county and illegally take over water rights for a local rancher. He put an end to it and stood up to the feds. The federal government is out of control and it’s really nice to see a law enforcement officer that is actually on OUR side.

I cover many stories of police abuses on the show and here on the blog because good guys like this one are rare. Support him and others you know in your area that are still doing the right thing.

Fighting the New World Order Begins at Home

The recent murder of Pearce Cosey by St. Louis County cops on Tuesday Oct. 19, 2010, got me thinking about all this and a song called “Changes” came to mind. Pearce made changes and was doing good, but the cops murdered him and ended all that.

I do not agree with all of his opinions and ideology, (probably passed down from his parents who were active in the Black Panther party in the 60s and 70s), but I think the late 2Pac (TUPAC SHAKUR), gave a pretty good message in his song called “Changes” that everyone can appreciate, whether you like his music or not. For many of us who are in this battle with the globalist “elite” we can’t forget about who we are, and how we can change ourselves and therefore begin to make a better change in the world. AVR host Max Egan often says we should love each other and win by peaceful non-compliance. There is a lot to be said about that for sure.

St Louis County Police Kill Unarmed Father of Six – Claim He Tried To Run Them Over

Police-shooting victim’s wife makes emotional plea for “truth”

http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9?isVid=1

St. Louis County (KSDK) — An internal police investigation is not enough for the wife of a man shot and killed by authorities Tuesday night.

On Wednesday morning, the St. Louis County Police Department released a very brief report on the officer-involved shooting, and by the afternoon, a spokesman told NewsChannel 5 that’s all we’ll be getting, even though many questions still remain. Investigators won’t say if drugs were ever found on him or in his car. They won’t say because there probably were none. Read more of this post

When Police Kill they should NOT Investigate Themselves

Michael E. Bell was murdered by Kenosha WI police yet after their investigation of themselves, they were all cleared of any wrong doing. Go to http://www.michaelbell.info/ and see all the evidence that proves it.

In June of 2005, an investigative attorney and a retired police officer came to the home of Michael E. Bell to discuss officer statements and autopsy findings regarding the fatal shooting of Bell by Kenosha Police.

On November 9, 2004, four officers were involved in shooting Bell in the head at his home in front of his mother and sister after a traffic stop of unknown reason. Bell was 21. Kenosha Police conducted their investigation and cleared themselves in two days. The Bell family asked District Attorney Robert Jambois for a coroners inquest and was denied. After his review, DA Jambois found the shooting justified.

Presented here are the forensics and other findings uncovered and how they relate to the depositions of the officers involved.

The facts and evidence available on this web site were compiled during the investigation of the Michael Edward Bell shooting and were submitted in U.S. Federal Court. This data challenges the version offered by the Kenosha Police Dept. and is being presented for public assistance to reduce fatal police shootings. http://www.michaelbell.info/

Remember this? BART cop "accidently" uses firearm instead of taser and kills

Yet another example of cops not being fully held accountable for their actions. Mistook a firearm for a Taser??? What kind of cop does that??? From looking at the videos I don’t doubt it was accidental but come on, cops need more training if they are this careless!

Another thing interesting to note: The BART cop that shot this man was 27yrs old, same age as the IL state trooper who killed two sisters in a head-on crash while texting and driving 126 mph on a busy interstate near St Louis MO.

I’m really starting to think people in their 20’s shouldn’t be allowed to be cops.

Federal Prosecution May Be An Option In Oscar Grant Murder Case

» by tffhthewriter July 10, 2010, 8:55am

Federal prosecutors have decided to step in to investigate the shooting death of Oscar Grant by a white police officer on an Oakland transit train platform.

Federal officials say that the case will be reviewed by the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice to determine whether the case warrants federal prosecution for the murder of the unarmed man.

As previously reported, former Bay Area Rapid Transit officer Johannes Mehserle was convicted Thursday July 8 of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 22-year-old Oscar Grant on New Year’s Day in 2009.

The shooting occurred after Grant was apprehended by Mehserle and colleagues for resisting arrests. According to reports and video surveillance, Grant was subdued when the ex-officer shot him in the back which subsequently led to his death which from the video looks like cold blooded murder.

Mehserle claimed he was reaching for his taser.

The verdict set off violent protests in Oakland, where the case has enflamed racial tensions.

Prosecutors had sought a second-degree murder conviction.

10 Rules for Dealing with Police (40 min video)

Very good video so I had to repost it here. Remember we are the employers of cops and it’s really sad that an employee has to watch how-to videos like this in order to gain control over their employees huh.

You can get this in DVD version to hand out if you like at http://flexyourrights.org/10_Rules
